Former St. George’s School student-athlete Hoyt Stanley has signed an NHL Entry Level Contract with the Ottawa Senators.
The Senators selected the West Vancouver, BC defenseman in the fourth round, 108th overall at the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
Stanley has spent the past three seasons in the NCAA with Cornell University, tallying 38 points in 105 games. Prior to his time in the NCAA, Stanley played two seasons in the CSSHL with the St. George’s U15 Prep team. During the 2018/19 season he would tally 15 points in 27 games. He would follow that up with 36 points in 29 games in 2019/20, leading to the Everett Silvertips selecting him in the fourth round, 81st overall at the 2020 WHL Draft.
